Family owned and operated, Gaston’s Tree Service started business in North Central Florida in the summer of 1972.

Following a state mandate in 1985 which stated that vegetation could no longer be dumped into landfills Gaston’s Tree Debris Recycling (GTDR) began operations. This started the process of permitting the first tree, yard, and land clearing debris recycling center in the state of Florida.

The byproduct of the tree debris collected by GTDR is premium mulch, chips, or soil which is sold through Gaston Mulch & Soil, completing a full circle and returning the recycled tree debris to the earth in the form of valuable landscape materials.

Gaston Mulch & Soil is still family-owned and operated, continuing the legacy of providing quality landscape products and services to the community.

Today, In addition to providing bulk mulch and soil throughout the state, Gaston Mulch & Soil supplies a number of well-respected landscape wholesalers and bagged plant potting mix & mulch providers. In fact, if you’ve recently purchased a bag of topsoil or mulch from a big box store, hardware store, or nursery and garden center, there’s a good chance that part of it came from Gaston Mulch and Soil!
